Full-time Bar Services Manager of PrairieView Golf Club

The Byron Forest Preserve District is accepting applications for the position of Bar Services Manager at PrairieView Golf Club and the new PrairieFire Golf & Grill range facility. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in food & beverage operations, excel in leading and training a diverse staff, and be successful in promoting the golf facilities to the public. This is a year-round full-time salaried position.  Total compensation offered is between $40,000 -$50,000. The Byron Forest Preserve District offers a competitive benefits package, which includes excellent health and pension plans. The position is responsible for providing leadership in supervising, administrating, coordinating, and conducting all beverage operations including the PrairieGrass Pub, PrairieFire Range (set to open Feb 2020), golf course beverage cart, and the golf pavilion. Full-Time Golf Course Mechanic/Asst. Superintendent

 The Byron Forest Preserve District is accepting applications for the position of Golf Course Mechanic/Assistant Superintendent for PrairieView Golf Club. The ideal candidate will have experience as a full-time golf course mechanic, be a well-organized and self-motivated team individual, and have a desire to learn. Must be able to prioritize and repair all turf equipment, and have a working knowledge of gasoline, diesel, electric and hydraulic systems, as well as reel cutting units. The position will also be responsible for general golf course mowing, course set up and irrigation repair. Must obtain Illinois Pesticide License. This is a year-round, full-time salaried position.
