Spring on a pioneer farm is a busy time!  We’ll focus on a special spring treat–maple syrup!!  Students will have an interactive tour of the Heritage Farm Museum, learn about the pioneer farming calendar, and see how much work it took to run things before electricity and gas.  We’ll also cook over a fire and make Johnny Cakes and butter to eat with fresh maple syrup!

Families may stay after class for a tour of the maple syrup process for free.  See the big sugar maple tree and taste the sap, see the evaporator in action, and taste the finished maple syrup.
