We’ll spend our time in the Observatory with a night-themed experience!  We’ll learn about how our eyes work at night, how telescopes magnify, and about the recent NASA launch of the James Webb telescope and why it’s so cool.  We’ll also try to figure out our latitude using the north star and a little math.  Of course, we’ll check out some neat stuff in the night sky through our own telescope in the dome!

At 8pm, parents and siblings are welcome to come in and join us for skyviewing in the dome.  We’ll have activity sheets and crafts out for siblings as well as hot cocoa to warm you up!  The lesser cost reflects the shorter program time; we’ll be back to our regular schedule in February!
